The Role
We’re looking for a part-time Sales Assistant with previous flooring or trade-related experience to join our team, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role.
This is a hands-on, sales-focused role, you’ll be expected to confidently advise customers and convert enquiries into sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in-store, over the phone, and online
- Advising on flooring types (especially LVT), suitability, and installation basics
- Preparing quotes and processing orders
- Upselling accessories (adhesives, trims, etc.)
- Maintaining showroom standards
- Supporting with stock and deliveries when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in flooring, construction, or a related trade (essential)
- Good understanding of products such as LVT, laminate, or similar
- Confident speaking with both retail customers and tradespeople
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to close deals
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
