Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground surfaces
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools around the construction site safely and efficiently
- Support skilled workers by handing tools, setting up equipment, and following safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Help with the installation of basic groundwork elements under supervision
- Conduct routine safety checks to identify hazards and report issues immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Prior experience in construction or groundwork is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is advantageous
