Job Summary
Responsible for assisting the construction team in their day-to-day activities by providing support for a range of tasks.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of general labour
- Storing and securing equipment as well as maintaining equipment & tools
- Load unload and move materials
- Mix, transfer and extend materials e.g. concrete and asphalt
- Maintaining construction sites, tidying, clearing debris, skip management
- Assist in the construction of buildings to include externals, internals & roof maintenance works
- Assist with erecting of scaffold, both static and moveable
- Maintain gardens and external areas
- Ensure completion of the appropriate paperwork
- Willingness to undertake training both on an individual or corporate basis.
- Flexibility to meet operational requirements.
- Adhering to all elements of Health & Safety, including working at heights
- To work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity for others whilst maintaining open and effective communication at all levels within the business.
Key Skill/Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated relevant experience working within the construction industry.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate journey and workload planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid UK Driving License
- 1 year Construction experience required
- CSCS Green Card desirable
