Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a communal building located on Bird Hall Lane, Cheadle. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Monday- Friday, start time - 5.30pm at £12.71ph
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in commercial spaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas to high standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable with a flexible approach to working hours
- Must be punctual and dependable
