The Company
C. Caswell Engineering Services Limited are a long-established family business, operating from our base in Haslingden since 1969 & have completed more than 1,400 new build restaurant projects across the UK and are manufacturers of CASWELL FIRESAFE Ductwork.
The Role
We're expanding our workshop team and are looking for a workshop operative with some experience of MIG/MAG welding who takes real pride in their work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Protect the company’s position and always represent the company in a professional manner.

Liaise with line management to ensure production time scales and deadlines are met.
- Work in accordance with CAD drawings and following approved codes of practice.

Assemble fabrications, typically mild steel ductwork and general fabrications.

Undertake MIG/MAG Welding to the required standard

Willing to work out of normal working hours to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Adhere to all health and safety policies, risk assessments and safe working practices, ensuring your own health and safety and that of others.

Ensure that any personal protective clothing or equipment issued and the uniform provided is worn and maintained at all times and is clean and tidy.

Ensure all necessary information is handed in promptly and completed correctly.

Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Practice good housekeeping and work in a tidy and organised manner.

Identify opportunities for improvements and put your ideas forward to your supervisor.

Work in other areas of the Company and perform different tasks from time to time as business needs dictate.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
MIG/MAG Welding
