Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fettler to join our team. The Fettler will be responsible for efficiently performing manual blending and polishing on precision components using multiple types of deburring tools that remove rough edges from metal parts, per operation sheet and specification requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Apply their knowledge to fettle components to a high level of part quality
- Ensure production times are met in line with each Shop Order
- Quality and detailed focused
- Raise quality concerns as and when required
- Maintain all Shop Order records logs for completion and accuracy
- Provide accurate updates of Shop Orders to the Team Leader
- Able to work to tight tolerances to LPE’s visual acceptance standards
- Maintain cleanliness of area
- Able to meet schedule/timelines in conjunction with the rest of the team
- You are expected to work with the minimum supervision and may be expected to deal with other duties as appropriate to your skill set and ability.
- Adherence to PACE Quality Management System
39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 6 am-4.15 pm.
