This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, established data consultancy. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual to keep our projects, priorities and customer commitments on track as the company grows. You will work directly with the Managing Director, who will provide you with the mentoring and experience you need to enhance your skills and develop your career.
We provide Technical Consultancy, Data Analytics and Management Information services to a range of customers with a primary focus in the Legal and Rehabilitation sectors. Our work spans two sides of the business: a general consultancy specialising in Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate, and Aquarius Reporting, our specialist Power BI reporting solution for law firms.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to bring structure and visibility to our work. You will be responsible for tracking delivery across both sides of the business, owning our customer support inbox, and building and running the simple systems that make both possible. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, chasing things to completion, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a great opportunity to grow with the company. As we expand, there is genuine scope for this role to develop into a broader operations position over time.
The role will be predominately home based but may require occasional travel for meetings.
About the company
Based in the historic market town of Banbury, the company was formed in 2018 as a bespoke consultancy specialising in the production of Management Information and Business Intelligence using Microsoft Power BI.
We provide a wide range of technical services to clients across the UK including data analytics and process automation. Our firm focuses on providing clarity and insights on complex issues to help companies to tackle their most pressing operational challenges.
The company is heading towards a period of significant growth, and we are looking for talented team-oriented individuals to meet this demand and benefit from the professional development opportunities it will create. Integrity, teamwork, and respect are at the heart of our culture. We believe that a diversity of backgrounds provides our consulting teams with a competitive advantage. As we expand our team, we are looking for individuals who share these values.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish and maintain a single source of truth for all work across the consultancy and Aquarius Reporting, using Microsoft 365 tools such as Planner.
- Track project delivery across the team, ensuring everyone knows who is doing what, by when, and how it fits the bigger picture.
- Run the daily team briefing: prepare the agenda from the work tracker, facilitate the discussion, draw out blockers and priorities, and capture actions and decisions.
- Follow up on actions from briefings and meetings to make sure they happen, working alongside the consultants as a coordinator rather than directing their work.
- Own the customer support inbox: triage incoming requests, log them, assign them to the right consultant, and chase them through to closure.
- Identify blockers and priority conflicts early and escalate them to the Managing Director with clear options.
- Provide the Managing Director with a regular, concise summary of project status, upcoming deadlines and open customer issues.
- Support customer facing coordination on consultancy projects, such as scheduling meetings, clarifying objectives, and providing status updates.
- Continuously improve our internal processes so that information lives in the system, not in any one person’s head.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Proven experience in project coordination, operations support, or a similar organisational role.
- Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through.
- Confident chasing colleagues and holding people to account in a friendly, constructive way.
- The ability to influence and coordinate without formal authority, facilitating rather than instructing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable dealing with both colleagues and customers.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, ideally including Planner, Teams and Outlook.
- A self starter who is comfortable working in a small, fully remote team with minimal supervision.
- The ability to design and build simple, practical processes from scratch, not just follow existing ones.
Advantageous Experience:
- Previous experience in a technology, consultancy or professional services environment.
- Previous experience of the legal sector.
- Experience running a support inbox, helpdesk or customer service function.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or Power Automate.
- A recognised project management qualification (for example APM, PRINCE2 Foundation or AgilePM).
Benefits
You will be joining a dynamic and growth focused organisation committed to helping our clients develop their Management Information systems and make data driven informed decisions. We offer a positive employee focused culture, where you can safely voice opinions and drive company development.
The benefits you will enjoy as part of our company are:
- Remote working
- Flexible hours (within reason)
- Competitive salary
