We are currently looking for a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our growing, dynamic Technology team who are fully committed to providing exceptional service by placing the users experience at the heart of everything they do, whilst creating a culture where you can thrive and do your best work.
You’ll be part of a team that is the first point of contact for all IT queries submitted via telephone, self-service portal and walk-ups. You’ll deal with a variety of hardware, software, telephony and mobile device issues, and will have the opportunity to gain insight into infrastructure-based technology, making the move into a more technical environment as part of your personal development and growth in Ridge.
About you:
First and foremost, you’ll need to be interested in providing excellent customer experience and Technology. You’ll be self-motivated, conscientious, methodical and organised, with the ability to liaise with customers at all levels of a business, whilst always demonstrating excellent customer service. You’ll possess a logical approach to problem solving and be able to multitask.
Essential skills:

Basic troubleshooting experience of hardware, software, printers and network connectivity issues

Knowledge of working with and supporting Microsoft product suite, SaaS applications running on Windows 11

User account management using tools like Active Directory

Device setup and configuration, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures.
