Events, Partnerships & Marketing Executive

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and promoting an exciting calendar of events across Ireland and England.
From networking evenings and hotel showcases to member experiences, corporate events and brand activations, you'll oversee every stage of the process- from concept and planning through to delivery and post-event analysis.
You'll also work closely with internal teams and external partners to maximise attendance, create engaging marketing campaigns, identify sponsorship opportunities and develop events that generate revenue and strengthen the Rory's Travel Club brand.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver a diverse programme of events across Ireland and England.
- Organise networking events, hospitality showcases, member experiences and corporate events.
- Coordinate venues, suppliers, speakers, entertainment and event logistics.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to drive event attendance and engagement.
- Coordinate email campaigns, social media activity, PR opportunities and promotional content.
- Build strong relationships with hotels, venues, sponsors and strategic partners.
- Identify partnership, sponsorship and commercial opportunities.
- Manage event budgets and monitor return on investment.
- Produce post-event reports and recommendations.
- Represent Rory's Travel Club at networking events, exhibitions and industry functions.
- Support wider marketing campaigns and promotional activity as required.
We are looking for an organised, energetic and commercially minded individual who enjoys taking ownership and bringing ideas to life.
What you’ll have:
- Previous experience in events, marketing, partnerships or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets and ROI.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Confidence using digital marketing platforms.
- A willingness to travel throughout Ireland and England.
Desirable Experience
- Hospitality, travel or tourism experience.
- Experience organising networking or corporate events.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of social media marketing.
- Experience using ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite.
- Knowledge of paid digital advertising.
