Traffic Management Operatives – Event Industry
Location: Nationwide (various event sites) / Office based in Coventry
Event Dates: Various events starting as soon as this weekend
Contract: Zero-hour
Pay Rates (Dependent on Qualifications):
- TTMBC: £12.71 per hour
- M1/M2: £250 per day
- M5/M6: £300 per day
- IPV Operator/Driver: £375 per day
Rates subject to hours required.
Evening & weekend work, with opportunities for camping and overnight stays.

Event Support Team is looking for experienced and dedicated Traffic Management Operatives to support over 20 major events nationwide this year. Be part of the action at some of the UK's biggest festivals, concerts, and sporting events, including:
- Godiva in the City, Coventry – Kicking off this weekend, right on our doorstep
- Camper Jam, Shifnal – A high-energy family festival with music, motocross, and camping
- Splendour Festival, Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, Nottingham – One of the Midlands' favourite one-day festivals, set against a stunning deer park backdrop
- Tramlines Festival, Sheffield – A major multi-stage city festival drawing huge crowds
Your Role
As part of our traffic management team, you'll be responsible for:
- Implementing road closures, diversions, and temporary traffic management measures
- Managing traffic flow to ensure the safety of eventgoers and road users
- Installing and removing traffic management equipment such as cones, signs, and barriers
- Providing clear and professional communication to the public, event staff, and emergency services
- Working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, sometimes in challenging conditions
What We're Looking For
- Must hold at least one valid traffic management qualification (TTMBC, M1/M2, M5, or IPV)
- A professional and safety-conscious approach to work
- Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel nationwide and commit to overnight stays when required
- A manual driver's license is preferred
