You will play an important part in the day-to-day success of the workshop by keeping customers informed, supporting technicians, and helping work flow smoothly. The role is varied and engaging, and while it involves managing several tasks at once, the right structure and systems make it enjoyable and satisfying.

Duties
- Acting as the main link between customers and technicians, relaying information clearly and accurately
- Explaining vehicle issues and recommended work in a clear, customer-friendly way
- Managing customer expectations professionally and honestly
- Handling phone calls, emails, and walk in customers, alongside existing tasks
- Following and prioritising a daily task list to ensure nothing is missed
- Booking work accurately and efficiently on the system
- Ordering parts, checking deliveries, and completing associated admin
- Supporting smooth workflow through the workshop
- Taking ownership of aftersales responsibilities by proactively following up with customers after service or repair, ensuring satisfaction, resolving any outstanding concerns, and identifying opportunities to build long-term customer relationships and repeat business

Experience
- Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or background is advantageous to better understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and confidently managing financial procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour.

Offering a starting salary of up to £35,000 (depending on experience), this role is well suited to an individual from the motor trade seeking a new and rewarding challenge.
