We're seeking dedicated Front of House (FOH) team members to support all stages of our restaurant operations. From part time FOH staff, all the way to management positions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about pushing Scottish hospitality to the next level and a stellar guest experience. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining hygiene safety standards, and contributing to a welcoming and deeply memorable atmosphere for our guests. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential; a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong team orientated spirit are also essential.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them through our 9 course tasting menu experience.
- Strong integration with the kitchen, ensuring clear communication with the rest of the team
- Serve food and drinks promptly with deep knowledge of our menu while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with preparation tasks as required
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure the dining area remains clean, organised, and inviting throughout service
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide appropriate change or receipts
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with effective time management during busy service times
- Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory
- Kitchen experience or culinary background can be beneficial in understanding food presentation and safety protocols
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully and understanding the 'business' aspects of what we're doing whilst enhancing guest experience and increasing sales opportunities

Pay: £32,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
