CareFirst 24 is urgently recruiting confident, highly skilled Healthcare Assistants to join our specialist paediatric team in Aylesbury. - Advanced Clinical Care: Manage tracheostomy care, BiPAP ventilation, oxygen monitoring, and open suctioning.
- Airway Management: Deliver critical nasopharyngeal (NP) and oropharyngeal (OP) suctioning safely.
- Nutritional Support: Handle PEG/JEG feeding lines and precise medication administration.
- Emergency Management: Maintain vigilant seizure monitoring and administer rescue medication/protocols.
- Family Collaboration: Build professional, trusting relationships with the family while maintaining clear boundaries.
Requirements Essential
- Suctioning Competency: Documented, hands-on experience with both NP (Nasopharyngeal) and OP (Oropharyngeal) suctioning.
- Advanced Skills: Clinical competence with tracheostomies, BiPAP, and enteral feeding.
- Proven Experience: A solid, verifiable background in complex paediatric care.
- Reliability: High commitment to permanent shift patterns to ensure consistent care in Aylesbury.
