Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista and General Assistant to join our team in Southwark. This role is vital in delivering exceptional service and supporting our daily operations at The Genuine Dining Co., helping us maintain our reputation for quality and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Assist with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently.
- Support team members in daily operational tasks.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Contribute to creating a vibrant and enjoyable environment for customers.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
