The Chapel is an independent private personal training facility in Berkhamsted, specialising in one-to-one coaching in a welcoming, supportive and professional environment.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Personal Trainer to join our team. This is a full-time employed position, offering the opportunity to build long-term relationships with guests while developing your career within an established and respected business.
The Role
As a Personal Trainer, you’ll deliver high-quality one-to-one coaching, helping guests achieve lasting improvements in their health, strength and confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, engaging and effective personal training sessions.
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with guests.
- Designing, reviewing and progressing personalised exercise programmes.
- Maintaining accurate session notes and guest records.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, presentation and housekeeping throughout the club.
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Essential
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable and punctual.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable
- Experience coaching adults aged 40+.
- Exercise Referral and/or other relevant specialist qualifications.
- A valid First Aid qualification.
