Bespoke Credit Hire Ltd is a fast-growing credit hire company specialising in assisting clients following non-fault road traffic accidents.
We work closely with clients, solicitors, insurers and other industry professionals, managing a high-volume caseload and providing credit hire and associated services.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Credit Hire & Impecuniosity Case Handler to join our team.
The Role
The primary focus of this role will be to obtain, chase, review and organise clients' financial documentation to assess impecuniosity in relation to their credit hire claims.
You will be responsible for communicating directly with clients to obtain the necessary financial disclosure, reviewing the documents received and identifying any missing information or inconsistencies.
The role will also involve general case-handling and administrative duties to support the wider Credit Hire team.
This position would suit someone who is highly organised, confident dealing with clients and comfortable reviewing financial information and managing multiple files at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Contacting clients by telephone, email and other communication methods to obtain outstanding financial documentation
- Regularly chasing clients for outstanding information and documentation
- Obtaining and reviewing bank statements, wage slips, tax returns, accounts and other relevant financial records
- Reviewing clients' income, expenditure, savings, credit facilities and overall financial position
- Assessing the documentation provided to assist in determining whether a client may be considered impecunious
- Identifying missing periods, unexplained transactions, inconsistencies or gaps within financial disclosure
- Requesting further information and clarification from clients where required
- Ensuring financial disclosure is complete and properly organised
- Preparing financial/impecuniosity packs for solicitors and litigation
- Maintaining clear and accurate file notes
- Updating internal case-management systems
- Monitoring outstanding tasks and ensuring files continue to progress
- Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails
- Scanning, filing and organising documentation
- Assisting the Credit Hire team with general administrative and case-handling duties
- Liaising with clients, solicitors and other relevant parties where required
About You
The successful candidate should:
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple files simultaneously
- Be confident speaking with clients over the telephone
- Be comfortable regularly chasing clients for outstanding documentation
- Have the ability to review financial documents carefully and identify missing or inconsistent information
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Be able to work independently while also contributing to a wider team
- Have a proactive approach to progressing files rather than waiting for information to be provided

Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous but is not essential:
- Credit hire
- Road traffic accident claims
- Impecuniosity assessments
- Financial document reviews
- Legal or litigation administration
- Claims handling
- Case management
- Insurance
- Banking or financial administration
Training can be provided to the right candidate.
Salary
A competitive salary will be offered depending on experience and suitability for the role.
Salary will be discussed with the Director during the interview process.
