We are looking for a Retail Supervisor with excellent customer service and people management skills to lead a highly motivated team of the Post Office and lead the retail and improve the online and store business. We are looking for outstanding individuals used to work to achieve targets and accept challenging business objectives. Drive the team to achieve both individual and branch targets including sales, shrink, waste, cash loss and staff costs.
Reporting to the Post Master , you will be working with a team where you will have the responsibility to manage day-to-day Post Office responsibilities and increase the retail sales and online sales management. Conducting employee lifecycle from recruitment to appraisals, training and disciplinary procedures.
Previous experience in Post Office is Preferred.
Experience in customer facing roles, target achievements, creative use of social media to increase the sales will be advantageous.
Key Job responsibilities

- Ensure the branch is fully compliant with all current legislation and Post Office Limited (POL) compliance and training requirements.
- Play an active role in the branch with the team
- Maximise opportunities to drive sales and increase footfall
- Ensure all staff deliver a professional, friendly service to all customer
The Requirements
- Previous customer facing experience
- Cash Handling and Balancing the tills
- Knowledge of merchandising
- Knowledge of online management, product management and enhancement
- Knowledge in pricing, promotion and discount management of the products
Successful candidates for this role will need to provide five years continuous referencing and consent to undertake a criminal record check.
