Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components, ensuring precision and quality in every weld. Your expertise will contribute to the production of durable, reliable water cooling equipment used in various environments.
Duties
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to specifications
- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and positioning sheets or components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform fabrication tasks involving sheet metal and other metal components for assembly
- Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure strength, appearance, and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with assembly processes as needed to support production efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with experience in welding standards
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively
- Strong mechanical knowledge of metal properties and welding principles
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and assembly processes
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding and manufacturing environments
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and teamwork skills
