As a Functional Health Assessor, you’ll use your clinical expertise in a new way, carrying out structured assessments that genuinely impact people’s lives, while benefiting from a predictable schedule and hybrid working.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting assessments via telephone and face-to-face
- Evaluating how health conditions impact daily living
- Reviewing medical evidence and clinical history
- Producing clear, evidence-based reports from home

Essential Criteria
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC / HCPC)
- Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident IT and typing ability
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Experience working with complex health conditions
