We are a family run MOT centre located in Bishops Stortford and have been in business for over 15 years. We are looking to recruit a new member to our skilled team of mechanics. You will need to have a flexible, customer-focused approach and be keen to work within a highly motivated team. Your responsibilities will require you to take on all the challenges of being a mechanic within a busy MOT centre including vehicle collections, outcalls to customers and deliveries where required. We have sponsorship licence so if you are on work permit visa wanted to switch we can consider.
Qualifications
Candidates will need to be trained to minimum of NVQ level 3 mechanic
Mechanics with MOT Testing qualifications may be offered
Suitable candidates may be offered training for MOT Tester qualifications after a probationary period.
Full Driving licence

We are a family orientated business which is known for our flexible and helpful approach so you must have excellent, customer relationship skills.
There may be opportunities for promotion to management positions in the future so good interpersonal, motivational and management skills will be an advantage. Suitable candidates may be offered further training to obtain MOT Testing qualifications.
Hours
We are looking for a full-time mechanic but will consider part-time options (pro rata salary).
The hours of work will need to be flexible between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday and every other 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
