As our Commercial Delivery Manager, play a key role in delivering strong commercial outcomes across the technology function. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor, you’ll combine direct delivery with effective influence to drive improved performance, disciplined commercial governance, and clear alignment to strategic priorities. You’ll monitor delivery progress against commercial commitments, proactively identifying and addressing variances to make sure value is protected and realised.
Your work will focus on :
- Leading commercial activity to secure value, identifying and executing opportunities to reduce cost, optimise commercial terms, and enhance overall delivery
- Driving savings and efficiency initiatives, so benefits are clearly defined, quantified realised, and appropriately documented
- Partnering with Digital X areas to commercialise technology roadmaps, making sure business cases are robust, benefits are measurable, and investment decisions are well justified
- Supporting benefits realisation tracking, making sure value delivery is evidenced, monitored and reported clearly
- Working in partnership across the bank to plan and manage business support activities, projects and processes
- Reviewing management information and providing insightful analysis of data to support performance monitoring and decision-making
We're looking for someone with strong experience in a leadership support, business management, or commercial role, ideally within a technology or IT environment. You'll bring a broad understanding of the customer business and how it connects across the wider organisation. This includes combining hands‑on commercial management with the ability to influence delivery teams, stakeholders, and external partners. You’ll be comfortable shaping commercial strategies and driving cost‑optimisation initiatives to make sure the bank maximises value from its technology investment.
We'll also look to you to demonstrate:
- Proven capability in financial planning, budget ownership, and cost control
- Experience managing technology vendor contracts and supporting effective supplier relationships
- The ability to work across multiple business initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn information into creative, value-adding solutions
- The ability to deliver outcomes through influencing a wide range of stakeholders, even without direct authority
