Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth handling of stock, and maintaining organisation within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in warehouse environments and be comfortable with physical tasks, including heavy lifting. A forklift license is required.
Duties
- Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
- Managing stock levels
- Handling materials efficiently, ensuring safe and correct transportation within the warehouse
- Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environments
- Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures
- Strong skills in materials handling, stock management, and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload tasks
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
