Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Saturday Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the delivery of goods and supporting the in ensuring timely and safe transportation. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping with loading, unloading, and delivering items across designated routes, primarily on Saturdays. A valid driver’s licence and good communication skills are essential for this position.
Duties
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods at various locations.
- Help ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle during deliveries, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.
- Support with warehouse tasks such as organising stock and preparing items for delivery.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment during deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially within commercial driving or warehouse environments.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence is essential.
- Experience in heavy lifting and manual handling is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with driving large vehicles or lorries is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
