We're working with a well-respected Housing Association who are looking for a Compliance & Asset Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in social housing, supported housing, property compliance or asset management who wants to take the next step in their career.
You'll be at the heart of keeping residents' homes safe, compliant and well maintained. Your day-to-day will be varied, with responsibility for things such as:
Keeping compliance and health & safety records accurate and up to date.
Coordinating contractors, Managing Agents and third-party providers.
Carrying out compliance audits and following up on any issues.
Scheduling and overseeing maintenance and compliance works.
Monitoring budgets and costs.
Supporting the onboarding of new properties.
Investigating compliance issues and helping find practical solutions.
Producing reports and maintaining accurate property records.
Building positive relationships with providers, Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
Getting out on site when needed.
You'll ideally have experience within social or supported housing and a good understanding of property compliance, including areas such as Gas, EICR and Fire Safety.
Just as importantly, they're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident dealing with people. You'll need to be comfortable managing different priorities, chasing things through and speaking up when something isn't right.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide is also required.
