Our Residential Children’s home supports Children and Young People aged 7-18 years with Challenging and Emotional Behavioural difficulties of mixed gender.

Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity at PSS Care Group for someone to join us in the position of a Therapeutic Team Leader.
Job Type:
- 3 Days per week full time
- 07:45am - 22:30pm
- £15.00 per hour
- Sleep ins paid hourly at £8.91 per hour
Desirable:
- Completed, or working towards the Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care or equivalent at atleast 50%
Essential:
- Driving Licence
- Able to work flexible hours, inclusive of weekends and one sleep in per week
- Applicants aged 21 and above
- At least 1 years full time experiance in Residential Childrens Homes
The ideal candidate would be someone who is positive, energetic, and self-motivated with outstanding leadership skills, career driven, has a child-centred approach and who has a desire to make a difference in helping young people develop their independent skills to support their life’s ambitions.

Supporting the Young People:
Your role as a Team Leader will involve supporting the young people with education, home contact, health appointments and encouraging and promoting them to complete independency tasks, key work sessions and general day to day tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. As part of your role, you will attend activities after education, over the weekends and through the school holidays with the young people such as bowling, the cinema, theme parks and shopping. You will be responsible for leading shifts, Conducting supervision and keyworker duties.
