City Gate Construction (CGC) is establishing itself as an industry leader. Founded in 2003, we are a privately owned Construction, Refurbishment, and Maintenance main contractor with offices in Scotland and England.
We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our planned maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks across properties in Renfrewshire and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out minor joinery works.
- Performing minor plumbing tasks, including first fix plumbing works and installation of kitchen sinks.
- Completing small painting and decorating jobs to maintain internal and external finishes.
- Undertaking basic tiling repairs and replacements.
- Carry out minor plaster repairs as required.
- Working independently and as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Keeping clear records of materials used and tasks completed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar multi-trade role.
- Broad skill set across joinery, plumbing, painting, plastering and general building maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- A background in tenanted or void property maintenance is desirable.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
