Preservation Windows is looking for an experienced Joiner to join our growing team, specialising in the refurbishment, repair and replacement of traditional timber sash and case windows.
You don't need to already be a sash and case specialist. We're looking for skilled joiners with a strong practical background who are keen to learn and develop within a specialist trade. Training will be provided to the right person.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining workshop joinery with on-site refurbishment and installation across commercial projects and customers' homes.
The Role
Your work will include:
- Refurbishing, repairing and replacing traditional timber windows
- Carrying out general joinery, repairs and finishing work
- Workshop preparation and manufacture
- Installing windows and associated joinery on-site
- Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions
- Working across both commercial and residential properties
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a multi-skilled, practical joiner who takes pride in their work and wants to develop their skills.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Good joinery or carpentry experience
- Confidence using workshop machinery, power tools and hand tools
- Experience working on-site
- Strong practical problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional manner when working in customers' homes
- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
Previous sash and case experience is an advantage, but not essential. For the right joiner, we'll provide training in our specialist refurbishment, repair and installation methods.
