Summary
We are seeking a Deputy Production Supervisor for the Night Shift at our Henstridge based facility. This role is vital in ensuring smooth production operations and maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. Join us to be part of a dedicated team driving excellence in steel manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift production activities to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Ensuring daily checks are performed on equipment - crane and FLT
- Implement safety protocols and monitor compliance.
- Communicating clearly with set expectations and clear instructions to all of the team
- Assist in training new staff and developing team skills.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflow.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and team management
