Here down a country lane in the heart of the Lancashire countryside surrounded by fields and cracking views lies our brewery. And inside our brewery lies a bustling taproom with 12 keg lines, 3 cask lines, a mahoosive fridge full of cans, and an incredible community of regulars.
Our current taproom legend, Harry, is transitioning into a new role in the business in the next few months, so we’re on the hunt for a brilliant new Taproom Manager to step into his boots (usually cowboy ones). To make sure the transition is as smooth as a fresh pint of Nitro Bitter, you’ll be working side-by-side with our current manager for the next few months, learning the ropes and getting to know the locals before fully taking charge in January.
What we're looking for:
- An Event Enthusiast: We aren’t just a place to grab a pint; we’re a community hub. We want someone brimming with enthusiasm and bursting with ideas for community-focused events. Whether it's plotting live music nights, organizing games tournaments, or collaborating with awesome food vendors like Marrow, you’ll be the driving force behind keeping the taproom alive with local energy.
- Airtight Organisation: Don’t let the relaxed country vibes fool you, running a destination taproom takes a serious level of structure. You’ll be managing rotas, handling stock, keeping the cellar pristine, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork behind the scenes so our team is always set up for success.
- A Proper Work Ethic: We work hard, play hard, and take immense pride in what we do. We need a professional with a "crack-on" attitude who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front when the bar gets slammed.
What you’ll get: The chance to run one of Lancashire's favourite independent craft beer destinations, working alongside a passionate, tight-knit team (and plenty of great beer to sample, obviously).
If you’ve got a strong background in hospitality management, a genuine passion for people, and the drive to help us grow, we’d love to hear from you.
