Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing access control, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service in a courteous and firm manner. This role is vital in creating a safe environment while delivering a positive experience for all guests. Duties
- Monitor and control access to the venue or premises, verifying identification where necessary.
- Conduct thorough security checks on individuals entering the site to prevent unauthorised access or prohibited items.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behaviour and respond swiftly to any incidents or disturbances.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with crowd management during busy periods or special events to ensure smooth flow and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests politely and professionally while maintaining authority.
- Record incidents accurately in incident reports and liaise with emergency services or law enforcement if required.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security risks.
- Support the team in implementing emergency procedures effectively when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role is desirable.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and demeanour.
- Ability to handle challenging situations tactfully whilst maintaining authority.
- Good physical fitness to stand for extended periods and manage potentially confrontational scenarios.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations relevant to security operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
