Job Summary:
Louis Hart Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Projects Lead to take ownership of engineering assignments and guide them through planning, execution, and completion. The position will combine technical understanding with project leadership, coordinating people, resources, and priorities to keep engineering work progressing effectively.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the planning and coordination of assigned engineering projects
- Define project activities, priorities, and key delivery stages
- Coordinate engineers, technical staff, contractors, and suppliers
- Review project progress and adjust plans where necessary
- Organise technical resources, materials, and project requirements
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and project stakeholders
- Identify delivery risks and coordinate practical responses
- Review technical documentation and project information
- Support site, installation, testing, or commissioning activities where applicable
- Maintain clear records of project decisions, changes, and progress
- Guide projects through completion and handover requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering, technical projects, project coordination, construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or a related environment
- Good understanding of engineering project delivery
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate technical teams and project contributors
- Confident communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Practical approach to resolving project challenges
- Comfortable working with schedules, technical documentation, and project tools
- Previous project leadership experience is advantageous, but experienced engineering professionals ready to progress will also be considered
- Engineering or technical qualifications are highly regarded, with relevant practical experience also considered

Pay: £62,000.00 per year
