Housekeeper / Site Warden – Part-Time
Hours: 30 hours per week + potential additional weekend hours
Working Hours – Rotating Weekly Shifts
This position operates on an alternating weekly rota:
Week 1 – Day Shift
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Week 2 – Evening Shift
Monday to Friday: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Applicants must be able to work both shift patterns as part of the rotating rota.
Additional weekend shifts may also be available, depending on business needs and staff cover.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Housekeeper / Site Warden to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining housekeeping duties with general site supervision. You will help ensure the accommodation remains clean, safe, presentable and well managed.
Key Duties
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Checking vacant rooms are clean and ready for use
- Carrying out regular checks around the property
- Monitoring cleanliness and general site standards
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or concerns
- Monitoring the property and dealing with basic site issues
- Dealing professionally with resident/guest queries
- Completing shift handovers and reporting relevant information to the main office
- Supporting with other reasonable housekeeping and site duties as required
About You
You should be:
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Flexible and able to work both shift patterns
- Confident working independently
- Comfortable dealing with people
- Calm and professional when dealing with issues
- Able to communicate effectively with management
Previous experience in housekeeping, hotels, accommodation, security or a similar role would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
