In this role, you'll complete a varied mix of accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts work for a portfolio of accountancy practice clients.

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Reading that's looking for an Accounts Semi Senior / Outsourcing Semi Senior to join its team.
This is a varied position that can be shaped around your existing experience, making it a great move if you're looking to broaden your technical knowledge while working towards a more senior role.
The Role
Depending on your experience, you'll get involved in:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Completing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Completing bank and control account reconciliations
- Liaising directly with clients and dealing with day-to-day queries
- Gradually taking on more responsibility as your experience develops
About You
We're keen to hear from anyone with previous experience in a UK accountancy practice. You may currently be working in accounts, outsourcing or a position combining the two.
