This is a fantastic opportunity to join our thriving business in the constantly busy village of Haworth. Pavé is a continental delicatessen selling fine food and wine, and also a cosy and popular bistro providing both the residents of Haworth, and the many visitors to the area with an excellent place to eat, drink and relax.
We have a fun loving and passionate team and we are looking for a hardworking, confident and customer focussed individual to join us. We are open 7 days a week, and 4 nights, and there is currently a position available with around 30 hours per week. This will involve a balanced mix of weekdays, weekends and evenings - however we do like our staff to have a set shift pattern. Part time will also be considered for the correct individual.
There is also a likelihood of further hours during weekdays to cover for annual leave, and also in busy periods such as Summer holidays and Christmas.
Candidates will need to be over 18 (this is necessary due to being required to serve alcohol and operate certain age restricted equipment). A minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality is essential - please do NOT apply for this job if you do not have experience in the hospitality field which can be utilised in this particular role.
Duties to include:-
Deli counter service - front of house work, being the first person customers see when they enter the deli. Sales to the public, slicing of fresh deli produce, making hot drinks, serving alcohol. Preparation of our hugely popular charcuterie boards. Operating a till and handling cash.
Table service - Waiting on tables, providing excellent customer service in a friendly and approachable manner. Liaising with The kitchen to ensure smooth and timely service.
An ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and use initiative are key features that the candidate will possess. Applicants should be confident in dealing with members of the public, friendly, outgoing and be able to work well with others as part of a team.
The ability to work to a high standard and under your own initiative whilst in a busy environment is necessary. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing and be able to work well with others as these are the traits we are looking for.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
