About the role
Source Supply are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rotherham, providing support within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and passionate individual who is committed to helping young children thrive during the early stages of their education.
The Role
· Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities.
· Working with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development.
· Encouraging children’s social, emotional and educational progress.
· Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment.
· Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the learning and development of children within the Nursery setting
· Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
· Promote children’s social, emotional, language, and physical development
· Support children through play-based learning opportunities
· Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
· Assist with observations, assessments, and learning records
· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
· Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
· A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
· Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
· Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
· Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
