We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Facilities Operative Apprentice. No previous experience in facilities or maintenance is required – we'll provide the training, support, and guidance you need to succeed.
Working alongside our Premises & Facilities Team Leader and the wider team, you'll learn how to help keep our buildings safe, clean, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and service users. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while developing practical skills that can lead to a rewarding career.
As part of your role, you will learn how to:
- Support the day-to-day running and upkeep of our buildings and sites
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Assist with routine safety checks, including fire alarm and water management testing
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs
- Help ensure buildings are well-presented and fit for use
You'll receive full support and training throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a uniform and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
As part of the role, you will complete a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship with Exeter College, gaining a nationally recognised qualification while building the skills and experience needed for a future career in facilities and property maintenance.
Pay: £17,002.00 per year
