We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our growing team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving hot and cold food to a high standard.
- Making barista-style coffees and other hot and cold drinks (training will be provided).
- Delivering excellent customer service with a warm and welcoming approach.
- Keeping the kitchen, coffee house and customer areas clean, organised and well presented.
- Washing up and maintaining high standards of food hygiene.
- Restocking food, drinks and supplies throughout the day.
- Operating the till and handling customer payments.
- Working as part of a supportive team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the coffee house.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety (Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable but not essential).
- Barista experience is an advantage, although full training will be provided.
