The role of the Support Worker/Care Assistant is very rewarding and varied. Every person you care for is an individual with their own personal needs and personality, and your care will be tailored to meet these needs.
Experience not necessary as full training will be provided. Driving licence and use of a vehicle is required.
Initially, this position will be helping to support an individual in their own home. The hours may increase, so please only apply if you are flexible.
Duties of the Support Worker:
- Personal Care
- Prompting and administering medication
- Getting to know your client and forming great relationships with them
- Meal preparation
- Prepare for outings
- Respite Visit
- Support with communication

Criteria of the Support Worker/Care Assistant:
- Driving Licence (with own vehicle)
- Be caring, empathetic and respectful
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to have a Disclosure Barring service check completed
- Be passionate about care and be willing to develop further skills
- Be friendly and supportive towards vulnerable adults
- Show the ability to build relationships with those you will support and those around them
- Show service users, compassion and understanding when working with others
- Show understanding about the responsibility of the job role
