CareConcepts is a growing family-run care group committed to delivering high-quality care within warm, welcoming, and professionally run environments. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team within our 51-bed care home.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive kitchen team helping provide nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents.
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Head Chef and kitchen team with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting stock rotation and storage procedures
- Following food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
- Assisting with basic preparation of snacks and beverages
- Working as part of a team to ensure residents receive an excellent dining experience
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred but not essential
- Understanding of food hygiene standards is beneficial
