Manafab are excited to be working with a well-established engineering business in Pinxton. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Storesperson to join their workshop team.
The ideal candidate is methodical, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands-on engineering environment. You'll be a key part of the operation, keeping goods moving, the site running safely, and the team supported day to day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive goods from suppliers, label and store appropriately, and update the ERP system
- Receive customer returns, label and liaise with the Lifting Department
- Process pick notes and package goods as required
- Load and unload hauliers and manage their routing
- Occasional deliveries to customers and suppliers
- Conduct regular vehicle checks and arrange maintenance quotes and scheduling
- Maintain site housekeeping to an agreed schedule
- Daily forklift and crane pre-use checks
- Carry out scheduled fire alarm and emergency lighting tests
- Complete monthly LEV and lubricant checks
- Support the fabrication team with materials collation and pressure testing
Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident using a Windows PC and Android tablet (ERP training provided)
- Physically capable of manoeuvring heavy and unwieldy items
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Crane operating experience desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar stores or warehouse role desirable
Salary and Hours:
- £12.90 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm
- 39 hours per week
- Overtime
- Immediate start
