Bostik is one of the world's leading manufacturers of adhesives, sealants and construction solutions. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communications Assistant to join our UK & Ireland Consumer Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing, social media and content creation to develop their career within a global organisation. Working closely with our marketing, commercial and technical teams, you'll help deliver engaging campaigns that grow brand awareness, increase customer engagement and support sales across our DIY and consumer product portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Communications Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our marketing communications strategy, including:
- Supporting digital marketing activity across websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising and SEO.
- Creating engaging content for a variety of communication channels.
- Working with marketing agencies to develop and implement innovative social media campaigns.
- Collaborating with influencers to increase product awareness and drive website traffic.
- Writing copy for website content, news articles, product literature and promotional materials.
- Assisting with the creation of images, videos and other marketing assets.
- Maintaining and organising digital content libraries.
- Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on results to drive continuous improvement.
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Keeping up to date with the latest digital marketing and social media trends.
About You
We're looking for someone who is creative, organised and eager to develop their marketing career.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 12 months' experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role.
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Business, Journalism or a related subject.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A flair for creating engaging content across digital channels.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, agencies and external partners.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports business objectives.
- A proactive, positive and "can-do" attitude.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Basic understanding of digital analytics and performance reporting.
