Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for breakfast offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or required supplies
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Serve food to guests when required, providing excellent customer service
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all stages of meal preparation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting preferred, especially with breakfast or brunch menus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
