Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza, Pasta, and Kebab Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of dishes including pizzas, pasta, and kebabs according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Monitor ingredients stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all stages of food preparation and cooking
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza, pasta, and kebabs
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential
