Duties:
- Conducting general servicing and mechanical repairs such as brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts or chains
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, with training support if required
- Supporting and mentoring junior workshop staff and apprentices
- Contributing to a high-quality, customer-focused workshop environment
- Assisting with MOT testing and additional technician duties as needed
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service throughout all tasks
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician in a garage or dealership setting
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to develop your skills further
- Proven loyalty and a good track record of dependability in previous roles
- Skills in diagnostics and general repairs are desirable; MOT testing experience is beneficial but not essential (training can be provided)
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the business
- A passion for automotive repair and a commitment to quality
