Retail Sales Assistant - Part Time
Moto Central - Wolvey, Leicestershire
Moto Central is a busy motorcycle clothing and accessories retailer based in Wolvey, Leicestershire.
We are looking for a part-time Retail Sales Assistant to join our team on a permanent contract, with a 6-month probation period.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in motorcycles, and is happy in a fast-paced retail environment.
The role
- Part-time position
- Between 1 and 3 days per week, depending on the successful candidate’s needs
- Saturday working is essential
- Primarily showroom-based, with occasional support in other areas when needed
- Customer-facing role, focused on delivering great service to riders of all experience levels
Key responsibilities
- Serving customers in-store
- Advising customers on helmets, clothing, and motorcycle accessories
- Answering basic product and fitment questions
- Stock replenishment and presentation
- Keeping the showroom clean, organised, and welcoming
- Operating the till and handling transactions
What we’re looking for
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Confident speaking to customers
- Enthusiastic about motorcycles - this is a requirement
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
- Happy working weekends, with Saturdays being essential
- A team player who is willing to help where needed
Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
Full training will be provided.
