Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Joinery Contracts Manager / Site Supervisor to lead and oversee joinery projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will manage contract execution, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and supervise on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence across all aspects of joinery works, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and management of joinery contracts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines
- Supervise on-site joinery teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and maintaining high safety standards
- Monitor project progress using management tools such as Primavera P6 (Project Management Software), adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to design details, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Liaise effectively with clients, architects, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly
- Manage procurement activities for joinery materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost control
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, site logs, safety records, and contractual correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in joinery or carpentry projects with a strong track record of supervising site operations
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar project management software for scheduling and resource planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of current health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in joinery or construction management are preferred
Pay: £35,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
