We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters / Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding promptly to any requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation or setup when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions securely
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
- Experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
- Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and menu knowledge
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
