Due to the Increase in capacity and numbers we are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nursery in Driffield. This is a part time, temporary position to cover Maternity leave until April 2027. Although, this may result in a permanent position . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their development in a nurturing, stimulating environment. The hours of work are predominantly between the hours of 9am and 3pm and term time only. However, they may be some occasions when cover is required between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm and cover may be required in the school holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical well-being
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting
- Be committed to their Safeguarding responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (minimum Level 3) Is desirable but not essential
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s growth.
