Bakery Assistant
Work as part of a team to help cut, pack and box products to fulfil customer orders.
Unpack daily deliveries, and rotate stock.
Ensure working areas are clean and tidy at all times.
Keep the work area clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
Ensure all cleaning materials should be stored appropriately when not being used.
Assist with baking activities as required.
Weighing out bakery ingredients.
You will also be shown other tasks to aid in production.
Any college qualifications for baking and confectionary work would be very advantageous
High standards of food hygiene must be adhered to at all times.
Answer customer calls to take orders etc.
Process customer orders and make up shipping packs per instructions.

Experience of working in a kitchen environment
General Catering Experience
Smart, presentable and adhere to Company dress code
If you hold an NVQ level 2 in Food Hygiene, this is desirable, but not essential.
Training will be given. Flexibility is helpful to cover holiday period. Minimum wage.
