the Summary of Position:
Westley Richards & Company Limited is looking to recruit a Trainee Leather Prepper to join the team of skilled craftspeople in our stunning factory in Aston, Birmingham.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To cut and prepare leather & fabric components to the highest standards ranging from small intimate pieces, bulky heavy gun slips to a full range of luxury luggage.
- Cut and Prepare products using various hand skills and machinery
- Skive leather to the desired thickness
- Using various forms of cutting tools safely and efficiently
- Waste management to ensure maximum efficiency
- Working and collaborating with a small team of craftsmen to ensure all products are of the highest quality standards
Hours of work:
7 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday
7 am - 12 pm Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
